The August measurement is in: forty markets priced at all fifteen operators inside a thirty-minute window on the first Tuesday of the month. Two operators tightened, three widened, and the biggest move was at the bottom of the table, where Quaystone went from 5.4% to 5.6%.
Kestrel holds first at 3.4%, unchanged for the fourth month. NovaBet tightened from 4.0% to 3.9%, which is why the margins guide published this week lists it second, and Marlin held at 4.1%. The three that widened are Quaystone, Meridian X — 5.1% to 5.3%, mostly on esports markets that were thinner in the summer break — and Crestly, whose singles went from 4.8% to 5.0% while its accumulator promotions stayed where they were.
The pattern across the fifteen is the one we have reported every month: main lines stay within a point of each other and the spread opens up on player props and specials, where nobody compares prices. Shots on target ran at 6.1% across the guide in August, Asian handicaps at 3.8%. The category scores for odds have been updated on every review affected, and the compare table carries the new figures.
Every figure is dated and reproducible: the forty markets are listed on the method page, and a reader with three accounts and a calculator can check any row of the table in ten minutes. The corrections desk answers within a working day if one does not hold.
