THIRTY ACRES OF SURREY PARKLAND

Twelve courts, and everything around them

Ten of our twelve courts play year-round, so a session is never cancelled for weather. The rest of the site — gym, physio, study centre and clubhouse — sits within two minutes’ walk of every baseline.

OFF THE COURT

Gym, physio, study and clubhouse

Four buildings around the courts, all of them within two minutes’ walk of a baseline.

Strength & conditioning gym

Strength & conditioning gym

A 240m² suite built for tennis rather than general fitness: four lifting platforms, sled track, plyometric boxes and a screening bay. Junior and senior programmes run separately, and no player under eleven uses it.

  • Four platforms and a 20m sled track
  • Screening bay shared with the physio
  • Coached sessions only — no unsupervised access under 16
  • Open 7:00 — 21:00 on training days
Physio & recovery room

Physio & recovery room

Clinic five days a week with two treatment beds, a rehabilitation area and an ice bath. Every squad and elite player is screened here at the start of each term, and results go to the coach and the parents together.

  • Two treatment beds, clinic Monday to Friday
  • Termly screening for every squad and elite player
  • Ice bath and compression recovery
  • Rehabilitation planned with the coach, not around them
Study centre

Study centre

Twenty-four supervised desks above court one, used by the full-time elite players for on-site schooling and by boarders in the evening. Wi-fi, printing and a quiet room, with a tutor present through the afternoon block.

  • 24 desks, supervised 13:00 — 18:00
  • On-site schooling to A-level for elite players
  • Quiet room and printing
  • Open to squad players around training
Clubhouse & loggia

Clubhouse & loggia

The 1920s hall at the centre of the grounds: café, changing rooms, stringing workshop and a covered terrace over court one where parents watch. Open from an hour before the first court booking until the last one finishes.

  • Café serving 8:00 — 20:00
  • Covered loggia seating 90 over court one
  • Stringing workshop, 24-hour turnaround
  • Changing rooms, lockers and a members’ lounge
