Five days of coaching over half-term, indoors and on floodlit clay. Our busiest camp of the year, and the one where the competitive group plays a Friday tournament on the indoor courts.

Ability groups

Groups, set on the first morning

Children are placed by age, then by a short assessment when they arrive. They can move group during the week.

Beginner

12 places
Ages 5 — 9

Red and orange ball on scaled courts. No experience needed, rackets loaned free.

Improver

24 places
Ages 8 — 12

Green ball on the full court, for children who already play weekly.

Competitive

Ages 11 — 14

Yellow ball, match play every afternoon and a Friday tournament.

Daily schedule

Every day of the week

The morning is coached, the afternoon is competitive, and Friday afternoon is the tournament for the competitive group. Half-day places finish at one.

What to bring

In the bag

Trainers with a flat soleNo studs or running spikes. Clay courts need a flat tread.
Water bottleRefill points on court and in the clubhouse.
Packed lunchFull-day places only. There is no lunch service during camps.
Warm layersLate October, and two courts are outdoors. A hat and gloves for the clay.
A racket, if they have oneIf not, say so on the booking form and one will be waiting.
Named everythingLost property lives at the clubhouse desk for two weeks.
