THIRTY ACRES OF SURREY PARKLAND
Twelve courts, and everything around them
Ten of our twelve courts play year-round, so a session is never cancelled for weather. The rest of the site — gym, physio, study centre and clubhouse — sits within two minutes’ walk of every baseline.

THE COURTS
Three surfaces, one site
Clay through the summer, indoor acrylic year-round and two grass show courts for six weeks a year.

CLAY
Six outdoor clay courts
European red clay, laid in 1994 and rebuilt court by court since. Rolled and watered every morning from April to October, and the surface most of our performance players spend their summer on.
Courts one and two have a raised loggia seating ninety for finals days.

INDOOR
Four indoor acrylic courts
A nine-metre clear-span roof over four tour-pace acrylic courts, so squad and elite training never moves or cancels. Heated to 14°C through the winter and open from seven in the morning.
Two courts carry the ball machines and the video analysis rig.

GRASS
Two grass show courts
In play through June and July only, maintained to county standard by a full-time groundsman. Used for the club championship, the summer invitational and the last fortnight of squad training before the grass season.
Grass court time is balloted among members each May.
OFF THE COURT
Gym, physio, study and clubhouse
Four buildings around the courts, all of them within two minutes’ walk of a baseline.

Strength & conditioning gym
A 240m² suite built for tennis rather than general fitness: four lifting platforms, sled track, plyometric boxes and a screening bay. Junior and senior programmes run separately, and no player under eleven uses it.
- Four platforms and a 20m sled track
- Screening bay shared with the physio
- Coached sessions only — no unsupervised access under 16
- Open 7:00 — 21:00 on training days

Physio & recovery room
Clinic five days a week with two treatment beds, a rehabilitation area and an ice bath. Every squad and elite player is screened here at the start of each term, and results go to the coach and the parents together.
- Two treatment beds, clinic Monday to Friday
- Termly screening for every squad and elite player
- Ice bath and compression recovery
- Rehabilitation planned with the coach, not around them

Study centre
Twenty-four supervised desks above court one, used by the full-time elite players for on-site schooling and by boarders in the evening. Wi-fi, printing and a quiet room, with a tutor present through the afternoon block.
- 24 desks, supervised 13:00 — 18:00
- On-site schooling to A-level for elite players
- Quiet room and printing
- Open to squad players around training

Clubhouse & loggia
The 1920s hall at the centre of the grounds: café, changing rooms, stringing workshop and a covered terrace over court one where parents watch. Open from an hour before the first court booking until the last one finishes.
- Café serving 8:00 — 20:00
- Covered loggia seating 90 over court one
- Stringing workshop, 24-hour turnaround
- Changing rooms, lockers and a members’ lounge
