Georgia Wren is back at Rowan Hall for two weeks with the elite group, the first of her two blocks this year. She reached 168 in the world and won three ITF titles before injuries shortened her season, and returned to the academy in 2024 as a visiting coach alongside her college coaching in the United States.

Her fortnight is built around match play: practice sets every afternoon, charted by Priya Raman, and a debrief the following morning. She also sits on the panel that awards the academy’s three part-funded places each year.

I came back to coach the group I grew up in. Half the drills have not changed.
