The June LTA rankings put six Rowan Hall players inside the national lists for their age groups, the most the academy has had at one time. Maya Osei-Bruce climbs to sixth in the under-18 list after a quarter-final at the national championships, and Felix Arden and Sofia Marchetti sit inside the top thirty of theirs.
Jonah Weller, who moved from the county squad to the full-time programme in September, enters the under-14 list at thirty-one. He has played eleven events this year, four of them above his level, which is the shape of a year we plan for every squad player.
Rankings are reported here because families ask for them. They are not celebrated in isolation: the termly review names the patterns and the behaviours that produced them, and the next block’s aim is written before the next entry is made.
