Marlin has switched on player props inside its bet builder for the Premier Division, Liga Primera, Lega Prima and the Rhine Liga. Shots, shots on target, tackles and passes can now sit in the same slip as a match result or a goals line, which puts it level with NovaBet and Bramble on the feature and — on our first hundred test builders — closer to them on price than we expected.
We built the same two-leg combinations at all three operators: a home win with the home striker over 1.5 shots on target, and over 2.5 goals with a midfielder over 50 passes. Marlin’s prices sat within 4% of Bramble’s on the first pair and within 6% on the second. Two operators we tested last year clipped the same combinations by more than 20%.
The rules are the ones that matter on props, and Marlin has published them clearly: a player who does not start voids the leg rather than the whole builder, and settlement follows the same statistics provider the standalone props use. That is better than the industry norm, where a voided leg often voids the bet.
It does not change the margin on props themselves, which remain the widest in football at over 6% on shots on target in our August measurement. A builder that prices correlation fairly is still a builder made of expensive legs. Marlin’s markets score moves from 9.3 to 9.4 on the strength of the feature; its odds score does not move.
