Editorial & Corrections Policy
How we decide what to publish, who signs it off, and what happens when we get something wrong.

Contact usIndependence
No operator, advertiser or partner sees a review, score or ranking position before publication. Testers are not told what an operator pays, and commercial terms are agreed after a review is scored and dated.
How scores are produced
Six weighted categories — odds 25%, markets 20%, usability 20%, payments 15%, promotions 10%, support 10% — from at least ninety days of testing with a funded account. The full method is published on the how we review page.
Bylines and accountability
Every review, guide and prediction carries the name of the person who wrote it, and each of the six scored categories has one named owner. Nobody scores a category they did not measure.
Corrections
If a figure is wrong, we re-test the specific claim rather than defend it. Any change is made on the page with a dated note, and the review date is updated. Two scores have changed after operator challenge, both on payment timings, and both are recorded on the contact page.
Conflicts of interest
No member of the team holds equity in a gambling operator, accepts hospitality, gifts or press trips, or bets on a market they have published a prediction on. Interests are declared annually and published on each author profile.
Complaints about our coverage
Write to the corrections desk with the page, the figure and what you believe it should be. We answer within one working day and publish the outcome where a figure changes.
