HOW WE SCORE
Six categories, fixed weights
Every bookmaker in the table is scored against the same weighted model. We open a funded account, place and settle real bets, time a withdrawal and measure the margin across forty markets a month. The weights below have not changed since 2024.
HEAD TO HEAD
Put any two side by side
Pick two bookmakers and compare every scored category. The stronger figure in each measurable row is marked.
QUESTIONS
About this
table
How the rankings are built, and what the numbers in each column actually mean.
Six weighted categories — odds, markets, payments, usability, promotions and support — scored from our own testing. The weights are published above and applied identically to every bookmaker.
No. We earn commission when a reader opens an account, but commercial terms are agreed after a review is written and never change a score or a position. Several bookmakers pay us nothing and still rank in the top five.
It is the bookmaker’s built-in edge, sometimes called the overround. A 3.4% margin means that on an average market the prices add up to 103.4% — the lower the number, the better the odds you get.
Margins are re-measured monthly across the same 40 markets, and every review is re-checked quarterly. The date at the top of the table is the last full refresh.
Yes — the head-to-head above puts any two side by side across every scored category, drawn from the same fifteen tested accounts.
Every operator in this guide holds a licence in the market it is shown to. We remove any bookmaker that loses its licence on the day we learn of it.
A better bookmaker will not make you a winner
Sharper odds narrow the house edge; they do not remove it. Set a deposit limit before you open any account on this page, and treat every stake as spent the moment it is placed.
