Polaris Black are in a third consecutive Winter Circuit final after beating Kite Club 5–2 in Halle 7 on Saturday night, in front of 6,400 people and a Twitch peak of 412,000.
It was not straightforward. Kite Club took both Search and Destroy maps, winning eleven of the twelve rounds they needed on defence, and twice levelled a series Polaris had led.
The map that turned it
Map four, Hardpoint on Sublevel, was the one. Hexa finished it with 31 kills and the highest hill time of the series, and Polaris led 3–1 from there. Dax closed the series out on Skyline with a 2:41 hill.
