The story
Four PCs in Kreuzberg
Polaris was founded in Berlin in 2019 by three people who had spent the previous decade in tournament operations and had grown tired of watching young players get handed a jersey and nothing else. The first roster was a Fortnite trio and a rented room in Kreuzberg with four PCs in it.
Seven seasons later the org fields four competitive divisions, employs six full-time coaching and analysis staff, and trains from a purpose-built performance house near Ostkreuz — eight stations, an analyst room, a physio and a kitchen that gets used.
The name comes from the one star that does not move. It was meant as a note to ourselves about consistency, and it has held up better than the logo we launched with.

What we Hold to
Four commitments the org is measured against internally, reviewed with the roster every season.
Every contract includes education or career support after competition. Nobody leaves this org with nothing to show for the years they gave it.
All four divisions train under the same roof, share the same analysts and eat at the same table. Divisions that never meet do not learn from each other.
Results, salaries bands, prize splits and revenue shares are written down and shared with the roster. Nobody has to guess what they are worth.
Berlin is not a flag of convenience. The academy recruits from German and regional ladders, and the community programme runs here year round.

Jasper LienCHIEF OPERATING OFFICERJoined in 2023 from a Nordic sports club. Handles finance, contracts and the day-to-day of the Berlin house.
