Ticketing Terms

The conditions of every ticket the club sells, and what happens when a match moves.

The ticket

A ticket is a revocable licence to attend, and remains club property. It admits one person to the seat printed on it, for the match printed on it.

Resale

Tickets may not be resold above face value, offered as part of a package, or used for advertising without written permission. Tickets found for resale are cancelled without refund and the account is closed.

Season card holders may list a seat they cannot use on the club’s own exchange, which pays back the face value in club credit.

Concessions

Concession prices apply to under-18s, over-65s, students in full-time education and supporters in receipt of disability benefits. Proof is checked at the turnstile and a ticket used by somebody outside its concession is void.

When a match moves

Fixtures move for television and for cup progress. Tickets remain valid for the rearranged date. If you cannot attend the new date, tell the box office before kick-off and the ticket is refunded in full.

If a match is abandoned before kick-off, tickets are valid for the replayed fixture. If it is abandoned after kick-off, the club publishes its decision within seven days.

Conduct

Standing in seated areas, smoking anywhere in the ground, pyrotechnics and discriminatory language all carry a ban. Bans are issued by the club and, for the most serious matters, by the courts.
