Wren on seven seasons: “The calls got shorter every year”

Wren has been at Polaris longer than the performance house, the Call of Duty division and the logo. She joined at seventeen. She is twenty-two and has called every Polaris Fortnite match since the second one.

Four nights a week, practice, no edits. “People think the stream is the show. The stream is the practice with the comms on. If it is boring, the practice was boring.”

On the academy

Two of the trio she mentored in the academy now play in the Rocket League division. “I taught them rotations in a game where you cannot rotate. Apparently it transferred.”
