Work on the east stand is now in its final phase, with seating installation complete and the concourse fit-out due to finish in the last week of August. The stand will reopen on 12 September, with the first fixture in it against Northvale United on 26 September, taking Kingsway Park to a capacity of 16,400.
The programme began in 2022 with the south terrace and has been funded without borrowing against future season-card income. The club has not raised admission prices in any of the three seasons the work has run.
What changes for supporters
- 1,900 additional seats, including 46 wheelchair-accessible positions with companion seating.
- A new family area in the north-east corner, with reduced-price tickets for under-16s.
- Four additional food and drink outlets, and step-free access from the Kingsway entrance.
Season-card holders relocated during the works will return to their original seats. Anyone who has moved permanently will hear from the ticket office by the middle of August.

The next stage
Attention turns to the training ground at Fairlow, where the academy residential wing opened in June. Planning permission for two additional grass pitches was granted in May, and work is expected to start after the end of this season.
