Asked most often

Our editorial approach →
How quickly do you correct things?

Same day, always. A correction sits at the top of the piece with the date and the change described in plain words. We never quietly edit a published line.

Will you tell me who sent a tip?

No. If you ask to stay anonymous we do not record your name anywhere in our systems, and we will tell you before publication if anything in the story could identify you.

Do you accept press releases?

You can send them to hello@, but we do not publish them, rewrite them, or run embargoed announcements as news without our own reporting.

Can I write for you?

Yes — pitches go to the relevant correspondent or to hello@. Two staff roles are open right now on the editorial team page.
