Eight, not ten

Every other side in the league runs a ten-man rotation. Valley have decided that the ninth and tenth men cost more in rhythm than they save in legs, and the numbers through three rounds agree.

Valley’s eight have played 82% of the available minutes.

The risk

One sprained ankle. The league plays twice a week from October and there is no version of this plan that survives an injury to either guard.
