{"id":28321,"date":"2026-09-03T13:24:39","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T12:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/marchetti-nominated-divisional-player-of-the-month\/"},"modified":"2026-09-03T13:24:39","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T12:24:39","slug":"marchetti-nominated-divisional-player-of-the-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/preview.sportpulse.anpsthemes.com\/team\/marchetti-nominated-divisional-player-of-the-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Marchetti nominated for divisional player of the month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luca Marchetti is one of four nominees for the division\u2019s player of the month for July after six goals in five league games, including the hat-trick that beat Stanground.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award is decided by a public vote on the division\u2019s website combined with a panel of former players. <strong>Voting closes at midnight on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"the-four-nominees\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The four nominees<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Luca Marchetti, Meridian \u2014 6 goals.<\/li><li>Danny Cole, Ashford City \u2014 5 goals.<\/li><li>Owen Farrow, Northvale United \u2014 3 goals, 4 assists.<\/li><li>Marco Iversen, Meridian \u2014 3 clean sheets.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iversen\u2019s nomination means Meridian have two of the four places, the first time the club has had more than one nominee in a month since 2019.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLuca gets the goals but Marco has kept us in games.
