A small number are genuine. All of them follow the same path, and knowing it in advance is the difference between a resolution in a fortnight and a grievance that lasts a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"steps\">The four steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list anps-post-betting__steps\">\n<li><strong>Support, in writing.<\/strong> Live chat, then ask for the transcript. State the bet or the transaction, the rule you believe applies, and what you want. Most disputes end here, in either direction, within two days.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Formal complaint.<\/strong> Every licensed operator has a complaints procedure in its terms. Use the word \u201ccomplaint\u201d. The operator must acknowledge it and give a final response within eight weeks, and most respond within two.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Alternative dispute resolution.<\/strong> If the final response does not satisfy you, or eight weeks pass, escalate to the ADR service named in the terms. It is independent, free to the customer, and its decision binds the operator on sums within its limit. Expect six to twelve weeks.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>The regulator.<\/strong> The licensing authority does not adjudicate individual bets. It records complaints and acts on operators whose patterns breach licence conditions. Report it so the pattern exists; do not expect it to recover your money.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group anps-post-betting__callout is-tip is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"anps-post-betting__callout-title wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What wins a dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rule, quoted. Terms and conditions are the contract, and an ADR service decides on them. A screenshot of the market, the slip and the relevant rule at the time of the bet is worth more than any account of what you understood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"we\">What we can and cannot do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oddsmark is not a regulator or an ombudsman and cannot act on your account. Two published scores have changed after operator challenge, both on payment timings, and both are recorded on the contact page.
