Reena Chandra joins the academy this month as performance nutritionist, working two days a week with the twelve full-time players. She is SENr-registered and comes to Rowan Hall from a county cricket academy, where she ran the nutrition programme for the under-18 squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her brief is practical: matchday and travel nutrition for a programme that competes twenty to thirty weeks a year, and a termly session for boarding players and their parents. The elite programme\u2019s weekly staff meeting now has tennis, physical, medical and nutrition in the same room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
